Each time you visit Direct2Drive, you will use your unique account to track purchases and see what's new! Your login is based on your email address and the password you chose when you created your account on Direct2Drive. A Direct2Drive account requires a valid, verifiable email address and that you have cookies enabled on your web browser. It uses cookies to remember your login.

This is how some Web pages "remember" your previous visits; for example, an E-Commerce site (Direct2Drive) might use a cookie to remember which items you've placed in your online shopping cart. Direct2Drive is an authorized Digital Media retailer of PC games. Our files come directly from the game Developer and Publisher. These are not copies or inappropriately obtained files, they are Official releases of your favorite games offered to you by Digital Download.

This is why you are also offered official support by the game's support staff no differently than if you bought your game at the retail store. Same great support!

Once you have downloaded the file you are welcome to save it for later on a cdrom. Save yourself time downloading again. Remember, each time you install and activate the game you are deactivating the previous license. Install wisely! If you need help, Customer Service is ready!

Please note that games are often updated without a separate patch being released. If you save your game files to CDRom or DVD - it's possible that you may have an older version of the game should you install your game at a later date.

Some Direct2Drive games are not compatible to expansion packs purchased at retails stores on cdrom. Only expansion packs offered by Direct2Drive are compatible to Direct2Drive games unless the game information pages state otherwise.

Your game comes with a Readme or manual that contains the link to game support. Or it may be listed in your Start Menu with the game title. Direct2Drive is unable to provide End User support to running the game itself. Those experts are employed by the game makers.

We admit that at one time that may have been the case. But as we have grown and built our relationships with game developers, they realize the importance of providing you the patch for your digital purchase with the same urgency as CDRom purchases. More than 90% of our partners are ready to deliver!

The truth is that the game is not what does the supporting. It’s the mod and the mod creator that build support to the digital version of the game. We work as closely as possible with mod makers to provide what they need to build a compatible version to the digital version of the game. In most cases, this is not a problem at all.

I was told I can only activate my game one time, that if I format my hard drive I am out of luck?
